  I am a fully qualified Personal Fitness Trainer and Kung Fu Instructor. I have been in this line of work for five years and have practiced martial arts including kung fu and aikido for eleven years. I currently work as a self employed personal trainer at Fitness First in Ipswich, but also extend my services to anywhere in Essex including In Home Training. If you have a venue in mind and depending on whether the type of training requested is feasible with the availability of equipment, then the rest is easy. Because of my experience of conventional modern training and alternative methods stemming from eastern martial arts, I have a wide range of skills and training methods to help you achieve your goals.
I would like to help you to make a positive change to your life, and become the best you can be!

Sunday 11th April at All Hallows Church Hall, Landseer Road, Ipswich,

IP3 0EX.

The Training will be split into two categories:

2:30 - 4:15pm Alternative/Traditional & Martial Fitness Conditioning

(8 Direction Rooted Stepping, Kettlebells)

4:45 - 6:30 Tai Chi Chuan

(Fundamental Posture & Standing Meditation, Pushing Hands/4 Primary Hand Techniques)

Cost per category: £20.00

All are welcome, the fitness conditioning is beneficial to all giving

a variety of routines, patterns and understanding to be taken away,

some of which have been sampled in my Traditional Fitness School

classes. The Tai Chi will give new comers an insight into a fantastic

world of health training as well as focusing on important Push Hand

elements.

1:00 - 1:50pm 

 8 Direction Rooted Stepping

Leg conditioning including stability and coordination which will help for all martial arts but is also good as a general health exercise

 

2:00 – 2:50pm

Kettlebells

Russian kettlebells are a fantastic rustic weight training aid which can be used for any training goal be it stabilisation, strength or power

 

3:10 - 4:00pm 

Tai Chi Chuan (Part 1: Form)

Fundamental Postures, Standing Meditation, Primary Hand Forms

Tai Chi Chuan is a very old health exercise and martial art which utilises slow controlled movements and helps in energy circulation

 

4:10 – 5:00pm

Tai Chi Chuan (Part 2: Push Hands)

Push Hands is a gentle Tai Chi partner exercise designed to bridge the gap between the forms and the fighting, teaching you to sense your partners intensions

 

 

Cost per category: £10.00
